How to Use It¶
- Fill in your idea in two to five sentences, your setting, and your timeframe.
- Paste the prompt into a new chat and answer any questions it asks.
- Run the literature search it hands you in a real database, such as Scopus through the AUA Library, before you commit.
Notes¶
Derived from the question-formulation frameworks taught in AUA's Research Methods 1 course (the description, justification, and clarification framework of Cook, Bordage, and Schmidt; the PICO or PICOT and SPIDER question templates; and the FINER screen of feasible, interesting, novel, ethical, and relevant). The output is a sharpened question, not a literature verdict, so run the novelty search it hands you in a real database (Scopus through the AUA Library) before you commit to the question.
